Refund Policy

Refund & Deposit Policy

 

Effective Date: 01/01/2026

 

Moss Auto Wraps (“Company,” “we,” “us”) operates on a custom-order and reservation-based business model. By scheduling services, submitting a deposit, or authorizing work, the customer (“Client”) agrees to the following terms.

 

 

Deposits

 

All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

 

Deposits are used immediately to secure installation time, reserve labor, pre-order custom materials, allocate production resources, and cover administrative and preparation costs specific to each vehicle and project. Once a deposit is placed, these resources cannot be recovered or resold.

 

If a Client cancels, delays, or reschedules beyond agreed terms, the deposit will not be refunded or credited unless explicitly authorized in writing by Moss Auto Wraps.

 

 

No Refunds on Completed Work

 

Due to the customized nature of our services, no refunds are issued for work that has been performed or completed, except in the rare event that both parties mutually agree in writing that there was a material failure directly caused by Moss Auto Wraps during installation.

 

Minor cosmetic variances, normal material characteristics, environmental effects, or subjective preferences do not constitute installation failure.

 

If a legitimate installation issue is verified, Moss Auto Wraps reserves the right to inspect, repair, replace, or correct the affected area prior to any consideration of refund.

 

 

No Coverage for External Damage

 

Moss Auto Wraps is not responsible for and does not provide refunds or compensation for damage caused by external forces after delivery, including but not limited to:

    •    Road debris, rock chips, impacts

    •    Scratches, abrasions, scrapes

    •    Improper washing or maintenance

    •    Automatic car washes

    •    Chemical exposure

    •    Environmental fallout, sun damage, or weather events

    •    Accidents, vandalism, or third-party actions

 

Once the vehicle leaves our facility, responsibility for protection and care transfers to the Client.

 

 

Material Characteristics & Expectations

 

Paint protection film, vinyl wraps, tint, coatings, and related materials are manufactured products and may exhibit normal characteristics such as seams, edges, minor texture, optical distortion, dust inclusions, stretch marks, or visible transitions. These characteristics are inherent to the product and installation process and are not grounds for refunds.

 

Color variance, finish variance, and lighting perception differences are also normal and not considered defects.

 

 

Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Issues

 

Moss Auto Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing paint defects, repainted panels, weak clear coat, prior bodywork, corrosion, rock chips, or underlying surface issues that may affect adhesion or appearance.

 

Removal of film or vinyl may expose underlying defects or cause lifting of compromised paint. These risks are accepted by the Client and are not grounds for refunds.

 

 

Abandoned Vehicles & Storage

 

Vehicles left beyond agreed completion or pickup timelines may incur storage fees. Deposits and payments remain non-refundable regardless of pickup delays.

 

 

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

 

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first providing Moss Auto Wraps a reasonable opportunity to inspect and resolve the concern may result in forfeiture of any warranty consideration and may be pursued as a contractual breach.

 

 

Final Authority

 

All refund determinations are made solely at the discretion of Moss Auto Wraps management. Any exceptions must be approved in writing.
